For the word nerds . . .

Christmas was uneventful here, except for one thing. A little old lady in a Santa hat, whom I didn’t know and had never even seen before, stopped by late morning with a basket of homegrown oranges. That Santa works in mysterious ways.

I did some work, converting raw video to mp4 format, but that was actually a good thing. Went for a walk on the beach. Today, yoga class, to stretch out all the kinks from too much sitting. Looking forward to the new year!

I’m reeling from the caption (in our family, groaning in pain the sincerest form of flattery for a pun) , but I’m with you in looking forward to the coming year.

Santa didn’t bring oranges, but I have three pairs of brightly colored gloves and a pair of slippers. I may get scurvy, but I’ll be warm! :)

Yoga sounds divine right about now. My vacation starts Tuesday, January 3rd. The day school reopens.

That’s so peculiar. I know a woman who looks just like that dog.

A walk on the beach sounds delightful. A walk on the beach with an orange in hand sounds even better.

I may have mentioned this before on Betsy’s, but I think shrinks and priests are alike in that you shop around until you find one that says what you want to hear. Your comment was so appreciated by me. Maybe I just found the words I wanted to hear! I LOVE what you say about my words. You are maybe the third person that gave me a compliment I understood.

The problem with the friend was over politics. We always disagreed but she finally sent a reply and deliberately copied it to my whole mail box and used some pretty nasty words. It was about that 74 miles of Alaska pipeline. Her son had said something about her a few years ago that started me thinking about a person’s perception of you because what he said was not about the person I knew. It was like the light bulb going on in my brain.

She thinks I am a pragmatic, grounded person.

Thank you for your kind words and good wishes.
